The release contains three updates:
- Viewers now see (up to) 5 webcams at a time
- Save user names now sorts by last name
Viewers see (up to) 5 webcams at a time
To enable more users to share webcams, and to reduce the likelihood that viewers on lower bandwidth get disconnected, viewers now see (up to) 5 webcams at a time, with the ability to page through available webcam streams.
This change does not affect instructors (moderators): instructors still see all webcams (up to 25).
For example, in a session with 8 webcams, viewers (students) would see five webcams at a time at the top, with left/right arrows to paginate between the other webcams.
The instructor would see all 8 webcams.
Save user names sorts by last name
To make it easier for K12 teachers to check attendance, as a moderator when you choose Save user names from the gear icon
the download file now contains a second listing of students sorted by last name. Here's an example of how this now appears:
